What to expect at your appointment?
At Advanced Wound Institute, we understand that you may feel nervous about your first appointment. Our goal is to always make our patients feel comfortable and treat them like family while they are in our care! Check out our video on what to expect at your appointment!

When you first arrive for your appointment, our friendly team member at the front desk will check you in and make sure you’re comfortable in the waiting area.

Our clinical support team member will then walk you back to your exam room and take your vitals, as well as gather some history regarding your wound.

Your provider will then come in to assess your wound and work with you to create a personalized care plan! It is critical that you follow this care plan consistently, and always attend your weekly wound care appointments as scheduled. This is required in order to promote optimal wound healing!
